Subject: I forgot that in order to follow

the cinematic timeline of Wolverine, you have to watch all of the janky Patrick Stewart X-Men movies, and maybe some of the non-Stewart ones, too.

That's too much of an investment, man. I'm just watching the Wolverine titled ones, and missing some context that's easily guessed.

As a completionist, this bugs me, but meh.

"The Wolverine" was made in an era a decade after The Matrix, but when everybody still thought The Matrix was pretty cool. These cultural time capsules (such as they are) are charming/nostalgic in their own way.

I think I smell Abercrombie & Fitch cologne...
