I should mention that I have never played any of the pre-2018 GoW games. The young cruel Kratos does not interest me; nor does anything else about those OG entries. These are like the 1925 version of Ben-Hur. 2018 is 1959 with 70mm Panavision technicolor, stereo sound, and Jack Hawkins being an asshole -- not to mention Charlton Heston and Stephen Boyd trying to out-chad each other. Am I not entertained? Yes, I believe I am.
