RE: More impressions of Star Wars Outlaws
"She's supposed to be an amoral opportunist from a harsh street life, but she sounds like a Human Resources employee. The only time she gets gnarly is when she talks about the Rebellion. She accepts the Empire as an unpleasant fact of life"
This actually sounds pitch perfect.
The first Lego Star Wars was peak though: my youngest and I 100% that one split screen.
Early Assasins creed wasn't horrible, but I had a subscription service so I played more games than I can remember. It isn't a franchise I felt tied to. Watching the movie was...not regretable?
I played entirely too much Division 1 and 2 to be healthy. It was jingoistic as all get out and about as much American as a french "Philly Cheesesteak" (if you need to say Philly, it isn't), but the skill-based tree was pretty fun, and the winter survival rogue-like mode in D1 was a genuis move that re-used pre-existing evereything to great effect. They do deserve some minor amounts of shit for uninspired risk-free decision making: they don't hire good lead designers.
Watch Dog ones were a skip even free for some reason.
