The transmission on the Ralliart was good, the shifting was very clean and tight, but the main thing I didn't like about it was how loud it was.
As far as the WRX goes, the one I test drove was an 08 sedan, but I kinda like the hatchback better. I know I could save more with the Ralliart, especially since Mitsubishi is doing 0% financing for 48 months on new models, but I could probably get a better overall price on a WRX than I could on a Ralliart. I'm still months away from a decision though, so who knows what I'll end up with. I've seen a few used 08 STI's going for under 30k, so I'm not sure to look at those or an regular 09 WRX.
