Some additions have been added for the PC (I think). Uh, but even if there are zero modifications, it's still a hell of a lot easier to rope on a mouse.
Also, look at the preview in Steam. The level editor looks new to me but maybe it was in the old version. It lets you draw the contours of the level and then fills it.
