The way I finally ended up completing that mission was to send units individually into the gaggle of incoming zerg and let them fall one by one. It was hilarious when I sent my permanently cloaked force of 10 dark templar and they ended up blocking and slaughtering a bunch of waves by themselves because the AI didn't have the foresight to bring detector units. DUMBASS!
