Which is why it irritates me when they don't write an order down. I'm sure they have fine memories and all but retail food service is a hectic gig and you're bound to make mistakes, why not take 5 seconds to jot down some shorthand? Especially if those 5 seconds might mean a great tip instead of an average one.
