im on the same isp as my work has. work never has a problem, but home kills the routers. the setup is exactly the same as it was with cable (with the exception of dsl modem vs cable modem). so im forced to believe its the modem.
the cable internet provider was charter and they were just awfull. they'd go down for an entire night (tv and internet) with no explanation, several times a month. by the time they got a service guy out the next day it was fixed so the fat slob would tighten the connections and leave.
