It's okay that dogs require 0.3% more attention than cats because they are actually fun to be around when you're in the right mood. They're even capable of showing remorse when they think you're mad at them, unlike cats that do as they please and treat you as replacable as they treat the carpet they vomit on (which btw, put a cat next to a smooth surface and carpet any day of the week when it's about to puke, and it will ALWAYS choose the surface that stains the best).
