Morrowind has more loot -- good loot -- than any game ever. It's hand-placed, unlike that travesty Oblivion, and it goes on and on and on.
While you're in Ald'ruhn, visit the Fighters Guild and sneak into the master's quarters. Some nice stuff in there. However, you need to be able to open a very high-level lock.
