Subject: RE: Taliban banned from Medal of Honor

"I literally just got back from Iraq last night and was planning to pre-order it this weekend, along with some of my soldiers. So thanks for that AAFES, glad to see those freedoms we went off to defend count for so much when we get home.

Over my several tours downrange the one thing I've noticed, especially down in the line units, the actual guys going into combat, is there love of military themed games, especially shooters. Hell, you'll see guys come off mission, and head almost straight to the nearest PC or console and start gaming.

Why? Because these guys, unlike I'm assuming this Air Force guy who's biggest complaint in life is about how far away the chow hall is from his office, spend their days living on the tip of the spear, engaging their enemies in combat, hopped up on adrenaline, nicotine and caffine and coming home to a couple of hours of blowing shit up on the TV is a chance to blow off some steam and unwind a little.

You know, kinda like what nomal people do."
