RE: The Walking Dead...
I never said I didn't like it. I just don't understand the gigantic hype about it. It's not anything groundbreaking and we have all seen the story explained a little differently but the same about 1000 times.
I admit I didnt see the first episode. I watched the 2nd episode 2 times last night to see what all the fuss was about since I like zombie movies as much as anyone else. What I gathered was it was good, but not original at all.
Man looking for hot wife and child(been done soo many times)
Hot wife taking it up the ass from random stranger because she thinks husband is dead(overdone, not original)
White Biker dude hates black people(never seen that before)
All the white people in the group need to preach to the negro hater to make themselves feel better(been done in every movie ever released since 1940)
Geeky Oriental guy who is handy for the group.(Need I say more?)
Hunky main character guy stumbles onto a group of misfits which includes every demographic as to not offend anyone watching.
Hot random female character who pretends to be a badass but is only really there because they need to write in a romance scene with the main hunky character.
Old dorky man who leads a survivor group.
Gansta black dude who feels even though he has been wronged by the white supremest, he should still help him because he is a better person.
Intelligent black female who has to be the smartest person on the show as to not stereotype.
Even though 99% of the planet is dead, main character just has a guy feeling his wife and kid are alive.
Like I said, I didn't dislike the show. I'll watch it again, maybe it gets better. I just don't understand everyone going all crazy over it.
