Subject: I'm totally on board for being an alcohol snob, w

Went to a distillery for the first time last weekend. They gave us taste tests of a grain vodka, wheat vodka, cherry vodka, chocolate vodka, and 90 proof rye whiskey before watching us rosie cheeked lads skip back to our cars and safely drive off.

The whiskey was called Ol' George and isn't yet distributed retail, but holy hell was it good. Smooth, and lingered quite a while leaving a rich warming sensation just from a small sip. I need a bottle... now. Meant to drink straight on the rocks I imagine, sipping slowly and being engulfed in warm awesomeness.

That settles it. With winter around the corner, I'm dropping 60 bucks on the best bottle of whiskey I can buy for that price to enjoy a nice de-stresser after work. The only thing I need now is a fireplace and a library of leather bound books to drink in. Possibly a bear skin rug. Haven't decided if I should factor that in yet or not.
