Its OK. Its different, and has genuine humor. If you have played fable 1 or 2, then you pretty much know what it is.
It is more akin to a Japanese RPG but without the totally insane stupid OMG plot and dialog shit and turn-based stuff.
Without resorting to total spoilers, you get 365 days until you "get puppies" and the countdown says "365 days left until puppies," and you do some shit on the agenda "for that day" and then, you have "339 days left until puppies" etc. Notice especially that it says days LEFT.
Pop quiz: complete this series: {365, 339, 294, 252, 121, ...}
Bonus question: does a countdown typically end on 1 or 0?
