I used to love Glemorangie, but now I can't drink it with a lot of pleasure.
This Balvenie would be a good next step for you then. Its almost as smooth, but with more taste--good whisky malt and a light fruitiness from the sherry barrels.
Soon I'll have you sipping on Laphroaig, which Quebus has likened to drinking a campfire.
