I don't really intend on taking it anywhere outside the house. The nook has wifi - I don't need any other wireless connectivity, and I certainly don't need or want it to make phone calls. As long as it has access to android market, or have the ability to sideload apps, it should do plenty (like be an xbmc remote). The fact that most tablets are significantly lighter than laptops means I can hold it more comfortably as well - this along with the ability to perform most of my non-business computing tasks is a big win for me. It would certainly be better than using my phone when I don't feel like dealing with a cumbersome laptop around my house like I do now.
