Fellow I know has the following questions:
How could a company track whether or not you have downloaded a specific movie? What type of evidence would they be able to produce showing you downloaded a specific movie? Could there be software that would trick the software tracking ip addresses into thinking they are getting the info from one ip address when they are actually getting it from another address? Can they modify an existing client to log the ip addresses or would they have to develop a special client? Is there away to block clients that are logging ip addresses or that have other security holes??"
He has a lot of questions. If any of you know how to hack bittorrent to give off a false ip that would be interesting to know.
