I'm still not cool enough to know all the move names, but Akuma's qbc kick move seems to take down a lot of projectiles. Maybe I just imagined that. It definitely has invincibility from every angle but aerial attacks. qbc + H is easily my go to move to get in close, then a quick combo into a hyper. I've been neglecting his assist since I usually play point with him but I'll have to try it out. I've been getting fairly reliant on projectile assists but now that I'm maining Akuma may want to look into somebody that uses much less start up frames for something closer.
