Piggyback services like Netflix are going to get hammered when more ISPs start capping and metering. Same with everything else that relies on streaming and downloading. People think the caps and metering will go away when "consumers" vote with their wallets. It won't. There's no meaningful competition among IPSs, even when you can find more than one or two in a given area. The big ones will choke off third-party streaming and force you to subscribe to their packages, which will still be capped or metered, just not as harshly. So you should hold on to your optical drives.
