Most of these community fueled campaigns tend to be pretty crap, with horrendous balancing and such.
The only decent one I remember playing was Dam it! and City 17, the latter being a bunch of geometry borrowed from HL2 and modified to suit L4D1 and 2. The Dawn of the Dead inspired map *seemed* like it was going to be good, but holy fuck was it ever buggy.
