Even if the edges were aligned perfectly, they'd never stay that way after being tossed about in a poorly padded backpack or the back seat of a car for a few months, and even then, if by some miracle they did, even the curved surface of the metal rings would abrade the plastic glossy surface of the dice.
Hey, I don't mean to piss on your parade, but I wouldn't buy one. :)
