Resident Evil has always had shitty controls. I'm pretty sure that's their trademark now. Well, that and including some completely retarded Japanese shit in the story that kills the atmosphere. I think the only reason people still play it is because they know someone else that had fun with it back when it was the only game besides Mortal Kombat to have blood.
Even the Resident Evil lightgun shooter on the Wii had shitty controls. How the fuck do you mess up controls on a light gun game?
