LOL! Training is a riot! I rely solely on the trainee's knowledge - and if it's not there, then they're not right for the job. I assume they know everything necessary, and then launch them into the job and watch how they deal with it.
Every now and then I'll find someone who handles the job, and recommend them, but most people quit after two or three months. Most of the workers on my team are people I've recommended out of many, many others who didn't know enough to handle the job and/or stress.
