It's like some horrible car crash: You know you shouldn't be looking at all the horribly mangled bodies but plain ol' morbid curiosity usually gets the better of you.
I had seen a few average reviews of the game prior to playing it but that crap game/plummeting company stock prices correlation is a new one to me, quite hilarious to be honest.
