Mortal Kombat 9 is actually fun
That is...
If you aren't new to the series it is. Meaning it plays extremely similar to the first 3, with the main difference being a stronger emphasis on balance. This game is ridiculous. It's the first fighter that actually has an entertaining story mode. The cutscenes are as cheesy as anything out of the first 2 movies but that's forgivable seeing as this is a game.
I bought Marvel vs Capcom 3 hoping one of my high functioning autistic friends would be capable of playing against me but had to let them win in order to trick them into playing it. This game is just fun to play win or lose.
