RE: Decided on replaying New Vegas...
Pretending the last 2 games don't belong to the Fallout series turns them into decent-ish action oriented RPG-lite games with some mildly-to-severely retarded enemy AI, an overpowered player character and a lot of running around to do... Basically just massive time sinks while waiting for the next big thing to come along which I guess right now is L.A. Noire and The Witcher 2.
To be blunt, while I've always found the 3 original 2d games in the series to be pretty good, I've always thought they were massively overrated by everyone, especially the second one- Bugs that were in the first game were *still* present on the second game for fuck's sakes.
