The combat takes a little while to get used to. It's still timed like the first witcher, but it's more fluid and feels more natural. There's not really any sort of tutorial section in this game, which I think is the main reason why people are bitching about the difficulty instead of reading the damn manual and customizing the controls. It's not a console port for fucks sake.
I haven't dug into it too much because of some stupid ATI bug where the game won't run fullscreen. I have to either run it in a window, or wait for the hotfix. I'll probably just wait.
