Like him, I have absolutely no idea where the physical disc might be, surely at the bottom of one of my many piles o' crap somewhere.

And, well, I'm gonna have to be brutally honest about this: I used to run a JK2 and later on a JA server, during this time I learned to hate the general player base with an unsettling passion. Back then everyone used to rag on Counterstrike for having a shit community but holy hell, the JK2/JA community was just the lamest of the lame second only to the shithole that is Second Life.

After some years of running it as a basic FFA server, one of the few players I liked suggested changing it to siege for the weekends as there were literally no siege servers in the geographical area my server was located, I liked the idea (Siege was one of the better things about JA that nobody knew about) and followed through on it.

After a day of running the server in siege mode, the forum I had associated to the server was flooded with comments from the regulars moaning about the change, most of these dingbats were people who would connect, sit around with their sabers down for three hours and wait for someone to challenge to a saber duel, they would go absolutely bat shit insane if someone even so much looked at them wrong. (And don't get me started on the whole "Not bowing before dueling or I suicide" horseshit, I actually started to permaban idiots on the spot for pulling that stunt)

I did the only sane thing at the time: Told the whole lot to fuck off somewhere else because the server is officially siege only from now on, handed over the server reigns to my friend as I was clearly suffering from some insane Star Wars videogame version of PTSD and never looked at the game again. The server continued to run for about a year more until my friend was driven to internet suicide. (Seriously, I'm pretty sure he faked his own death to get away from all the fuckwits)

Anyway, that's the story of my time with JK2/JA: There were plenty of fun moments during the beginning but by god, I'd rather fall into a river of poopy than spend another second playing it.
