Oh man, I used a turtling technique with the blue style that absolutely infuriated all the honor assholes. I guess the fact that whenever I wasn't at work, I used to spend every single waking hour playing the game and eventually I became endowed with a keen sense of timing when it came to one on one, no force power saber duels.
I would just stand my ground not moving an inch, every single saberist used the red style for some reason so their swings were always hilariously telegraphed, some of the smarter ones used yellow to better effect and absolutely nobody used blue other than for the headless chicken style or ass fighting. I'd just dodge a tiny millimeter, poke at them with a single blue side swipe and repeat, never taking a swing at them without them taking a swing at me first. I didn't even have to chain attacks either, just the single swing and backing off was enough.
For years and years I massacred the regulars thousands of times this way and in that entire time just *one* player managed to come up with something that would actually give me a run for my money, everyone else just kept trying to spam red attacks and getting poked to death.
Then JA came along and threw saber balance right out the goddamn window, you could kill a guy that was at 200/200 with a single well placed blue special uppercut.
