I thought In the Name of the King was pretty good. It had a lot of srangeness -- casting Burt Reynolds and Ray Liotta in very inappropriate roles, for example -- but it wasn't that bad. The 2009 J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie was much worse. Avatar was much worse. Transformers, anyone? Emo super hero movies? The latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie? I could go on. Big-budget Hollywood projects produced in the last couple of years make Uwe look like Michael Mann.
