I'm not saying it's the greatest thing in the world. It also irritates me on a regular basis, but the UI provides the best user experience out of all the other mobile OSs IMO. And you're wrong about the configuration possibilities, there are configuration files for just about every aspect of the phone - they're just hidden by the gui.

I've never used the touchpad, so I don't know, it might very well be a helpless piece of shit. It that's the case, then I'm sure I can turn around and sell it for more than I paid. If I like it more than my NC, then I'll probably sell that instead.
