Subject: RE: A great post about RE 5 on a forum:

I don't think his comment about ammo should be in there. The RE series has always been known for scarce ammo. RE4 was more of a run and gun since 1 out of every 2 enemies you killed dropped a full clip, but the scarce ammo thing is an actual GOOD way to create more suspence or anxiety. What isn't acceptable for creating more suspence, is fucking up the controls. Again, not being able to move and aim at the same time is the absolute worst idea ever. It's not alright to completely screw with the main gameplay mechanic (moving) to create more suspence. It creates a bad gameplay experience. Period.

He also neglected to mention running. I think having to hold a button to run was last used in Super Mario Bros., and was abolished as soon as the analog stick was invented. Why couldn't analog sensetivity be used to control running, so they could let you use the A button for something useful? Yes, I know it's the same control scheme from RE4, but as it was already stated, it just FEELS clunkier. Don't turn the game into a giant escort mission if you're going to keep the same broken controls.
