Core i7 - X58
Bleh. I don't get the allure of this path right now, especially with something like a 4870 X2 or a GTX295.
- heat
- MUST HAVE BIGGER POWER SUPPLY with big cards above. I suppose this could be modified if one stays with a 22" monitor
- console ports
- $300 motherboards - LOLOLOL
- aftermarket cooler (apparently, stock i7 cooler = fail)
- massive power draw (neighbors' lights would dim)
