There will be a lot of the Mojave syndrome when Windows 7 ships. People will make themselves sick insisting how much better and faster it is than Vista.
Microsoft is smart. Rather than tell everyone to learn how to use a computer, they went to work on Vista SE. Sales will be huge. "Improved user experiences" will be legion. Nobody will listen when you tell them that it's mostly placebo effect.
