First off, Glenmorangie is scotch so there's no comparison. Any scotch > any bourbon. There's something charming about bourbon though. It's just a, "hey, I'm not pretentious, I'm just looking for a good stiff drink that's going to knock my ass out if I don't respect it" type of beverage.
Give it a whirl yourself. Just don't expect it to be as smooth as scotch. It's a mixture of fire and flavor.
