power supply looks like a real cunt job. buy a cheap case, a power supply and a full size graphics card. put the guts in that.
some case for $20
corsair 430w psu for $50 before a $10 rebate.
powercolor 6850 1gb 256bit for $150 before a $20 rebate. or whatever lesser card you might want
you'd be set for $220 or $190 if you pissed with the rebates. Otherwise, since you mentioned you might make a system in the future, buy a nice case and power supply (and possibly graphics card) now that you plan on getting for your future build and use them for both. When you get to the future build put the acer back together.
