I played Planescape for a bit and liked it. As so often happens, I got distracted by something else and never went back to it.
I make fun of Oblivion, but it's really good in many ways. It's certainly worth playing if you haven't done so, and $5 is a good price.
If you haven't played the Gothic games, please do so immediately.
The original Gothic
and
Gothic 2
are manly games made for men. The controls in Gothic 1 take some getting used to, but you'll figure them out in about two minutes. I leave out Gothic 3 because it's a mess and your computer would die in horrible pain. I leave out Gothic 4 because I haven't played it and it looks like a "multiplatform" money grab to me, but ILA likes it.
I'm not sure whether Risen would run on your computer, but that's another great game. It's basically the real Gothic 4 with a different title.
