RE: Skyrim first impressions....
Skyrims' guilds are pretty crappy. The mages' college is terrible. Companions are terrible. Bards' college goes nowhere. The only good ones are the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood, and they're not as good as they were in Oblivious. I must say that Oblividerp did guilds right (better than Morrowind), especially the Fighters Guild.
