I've been trying to get through Micro, a book started by the late Michael Crichton and finished by Richard Preston. This is one of the worst books I've ever read. The subject is exactly what you're thinking: shrunken people at war with plants, bugs, and evil corporate psychos. I think Crichton stopped trying after Jurassic Park. Compare the excellent Congo with this or something equally bad like Timeline. Sad.
