I can't decide whether I like Serious Sam 3. I've only completed a couple of levels. Seems a little clunky and very console-centric. The sound is strange -- when I do something, the sound seems to "trail" me, as if it's catching up from behind. Mouse speed is insane. I had to turn it all the way down. There's some of the old comedy. Same enemies and guns so far (well, you get an automatic pistol instead of the neat Western ones). In normal skill, I've had little reason to use the shotgun. It seems more economical to use the pistol and melee.
