If Valve makes good on their promise to deliver free content then it will eventually be worth the price. It's definitely not a full game as of now, which I think I had a long rant about with muppet, who has never played the game before. 1 more full campaign + the two extra versus levels would be enough to justify a $40 price IMO. That'd still be more than it's worth, but rarely does a developer deserve the $50 price tag on their games anyways. Fallout 3 and GTA 4 were the last games I remember paying full price for that deserved it.
