What do you do on castle defense? I usually pull everyone off the walls and stack up archers wherever my reinforcements come in, and have the knights mob the base of a stairway so the invaders can't get off the stairs. The archers waste everyone stacking up and the soldiers eat up the rest as they come down the stairs one or two at a time.
