RE: Decked out barbarian

. Since I don't often frequent the DH forum, I'm sure there are dozens of similar threads. I do frequent the barbarian forum, where EVERY thread is a lamentation about Inferno.
I could be wrong, but it seems very obvious to me (as Jaime has already theorized) that Inferno exists to promote the RMAH. If so, it's the most brilliant scheme ever. It means that Inferno will never be fixed. Blizzard will twiddle with it, or more properly, they'll make a show of "balancing" the classes, but nothing will obviate the requirement to use the RMAH -- ever.
One potential problem I see with all this fake balancing is that Blizzard will unknowingly (or perhaps knowingly) screw up something in the lower difficulties. If they faux-balance for Inferno, they could really mess up something in Hell or below. Same thing happens when companies have tunnel vision about PVP balance, not realizing or caring that the changes will screw something up in PVE.
Although I don't think Blizzard is smart enough or organized enough to engineer an RMAH requirement across all difficulties, I do think they'll drag their feet on fixing collateral damage from Inferno balancing if it means weaker characters resort to the RMAH.
The most instructive thing about this post is how it reveals my visionarg genius. If you had any reservations about this, I urge you to re-read it.
