Screens don't do it justice, you need to see it in motion... Then it *really* looks like shit.
I kid of course, I suppose they wanted the game to run on as many hardware configurations as possible so they kept the eye candy in check. That said the graphics are serviceable for the most part, they're not gonna leave you in awe but they do the job. Though one thing I can agree with is the people that complained about the graphical style and aesthetics being completely different from the previous games, I personally don't have a problem with it but I can see how it could be for others, it's certainly a valid complaint.
If there's one thing to really give them hell about though, it's the dialog, plot line and writing in general... Real bleh in that respect.
