The thing is, half the dialog is cribbed from Lord of the Rings (the movies: usually the bits Jackson added). Some of it is word for word, the rest is paraphrased.
But the flip side is: name some games with good dialog. It will be a short list.
I actually have few complaints with the game, and it looks good. Its not photo realisim, and it wasn't meant to be.
