Ok, maybe it won't be the next big thing in gaming, but I still wouldn't be surprised to see native support for it from the major 3d engine liscensees, or video card drivers. Yeah, there are plenty or vr headsets that came before it, but then again, there were plenty of cars that came before the model t. There's not anything particularly new about this headset that hasn't been done by someone before, except the lone hardware guy seems to be striking the best balance between all the parts. The only thing that really seems to be lacking on the hardware side is the higher res screens which should be out probably by years end, and uhhh, black duct tape.
