cool story:
We ran into a champion pack of those floaty fallen angel things in the area right before the fight with Diabro. The last one we couldn't kill. We knew he was vampiric, but we couldn't figure out how he was getting such a big health recharge.
Interestingly, he wasn't all that aggressive. You could kind of stand there and mess with your skill buttons as long as you weren't too close. But as soon as you tried to kill him, he cast plague pools and sucked down your life.
We finally realized that it would be a good idea to stay out of the plague pools. Only problem was that Tyrael, the most useful angel in the world, kept throwing himself into hevery pool he could find and threw himelf in the path of every other kind of damage, so the monster had a nice eternally charging health pack.
I decided to keep Tyrael with me, well away from the monster, while ILA hit upon the idea of (1) avoiding the plague pools and (2) using his Chuck Norris stun skills.
This did the trick. Deprived of his Tyrael-pack and pool damage, the monster had no way of regenerating health while ILA kept him stun-locked.
The monster died and dropped nothing of value. He will be missed.
