Don't get me wrong, they're still hilariously worthless but strength on a crossbow would give a demon hunter extra armor while dexterity on a 2h would give a barbarian extra dodge chance.

What this game needs is a gold based single use re-roll service on a merchant.

It also needs a way for the blacksmith to guarantee a certain stat, say by sacrificing a gem or some other unique item when crafting but I'm guessing this is too sensible and logical of an idea.
