Dreamhost, muppet's host, is rather slow sometimes, but you could also have hair clogs in your AOL pipes.
Start/search - type "cmd"
Type: tracert www.madebymonkeys.net
If you see a big number of hops and some big ping numbers before you get to Dreamhost, your ISP (or their backbone, or some other network, etc.) is taking Mr. Toad's wild ride.
If you see a lot of weirdness before you actually get to the WAN, you have wireless rats chewing the wireless cords on your router.
In either case, get at least one more Norton.
