When I logged off last night, only a few minutes remained on my auction of a perfectly splendid chest armor piece. This merchandise was easily worth 2 mil and I put the buyout at 800,000. Unless someone grabbed it at the last minute, it will go back in my stash, unappreciated and lost to time. Elsewhere in the list, people were paying much more for marginally better armor. One look at the forums this morning reminded me that the Diablo community is overflowing with dimwits. For every toolbag on the forum, there are two million silent but equally challenged people who could not see that my armor was a terrific bargain. I am filled with fear because these people will be in charge as I transition into my years of infirmity and dotage. That should be about 2014.
